I am a woman. I am white. I live in a nurturing environment.
That does in no way means that I think that this environment is given by the computer that connects me to the internet.
It is carefully constructed by people like you and me speaking of what it is, that is at least needed to run an event that adds value to our life.
If it doesn't promise to do that I would rather stay at home at play with my cat. (Did I mention that the cat doesn't charge me for a ticket.) (1)
I am writing this because I feel part of a community that makes a decision in which direction its heading.
Every word that does not describe, what is needed to run a nurturing envoirment should be edited and maybe deleted. Look it is a wiki(2). A modification would not just be benefitial to this event but also give the people that are interested in, how to construct the next event, a form of feedback that they can make sense of.
Justify why you are different to the person next to you is very tiresome (3), so I made a sketch:)

Today I discovered a problem with set an user account at the EMF wiki. By the outstanding effort of the community that gathered around this event I was able to login an soon later and edit my sketch. I see this as an indicator of a good event.
